FAQs

Is Preston House a nanny placement agency?

No. Preston House works with the nanny or caregiver already employed by your family. The programme is an investment in their professional development; it is not a recruitment or placement service.

Does my nanny need to speak English?

Yes. The programme, discussions and written materials are delivered in English. Participants must be able to speak, read and understand English sufficiently to engage confidently with the content.

How much does the programme cost?

Our Foundation Programme is AED 2,500 per participant and includes all training sessions, a professionally designed Preston House Handbook, practical resources, and a Certificate of Completion.

Private consultancy, bespoke family services and future Developmental Pathways are tailored to each family's requirements. Please get in touch to discuss your needs and receive a personalised proposal.

Is Preston House only for academically ambitious families?

The programme is suitable for any family seeking more intentional learning and stronger daily systems. It is especially relevant to ambitious families because the habits developed at home—independence, language, organisation, motivation, resilience and reasoning—strongly support academic performance.

Will the programme make our home feel like school?

No. The aim is not to recreate a classroom. It is to use ordinary routines, play, conversation, practical life and family participation as natural opportunities for learning.

Does Preston House teach one parenting style?

No. There is no one-size-fits-all model. Tools are adapted to each family’s values, routines, culture and expectations.

Is the programme practical?

Yes. Caregivers practise real scenarios and leave with language, routines, activities and tools they can implement immediately.

What happens after the Foundation Programme?

Caregivers may progress into age-specific Developmental Pathways. Families may also choose bespoke consultancy for individual household goals.

Is the programme research-based?

Preston House is evidence-informed. Its framework draws on developmental neuroscience, attachment, executive-function research, motivation and growth-mindset research, and respected educational traditions. Research is translated into practical household application.

Will my nanny receive a certificate?

Participants receive a Preston House Certificate of Completion recognising their professional development and engagement with the programme.

Can parents take part?

The core programme is designed for caregivers. Each participant receives a Preston House handbook to take back into the home, providing practical tools, conversation prompts and reflection activities that help families stay aligned and support consistent learning. Bespoke family consultancy is also available where appropriate.
