A Letter from Clare
I did not create Preston House because the world needed another nanny course.
I created it because, throughout my career in education, I repeatedly saw the same missing link between what children were learning in excellent schools and what they were able to practise in everyday life.
I have built bespoke educational programmes for ultra-high-net-worth families, built private micro-schools for VIP families, overseen homeschooling programmes, advised schools and families, and recruited, trained and managed exceptional teachers and tutors, including Oxbridge graduates and leading educators in the UAE.
My work has taken me across Dubai, London, Monaco and international family settings. I have designed programmes for academic acceleration, entrance preparation, problem-solving, communication, independent learning and future-ready skills. I have also spent years thinking about alternative education and the direction learning must take in a changing world.
Again and again, I saw children receiving exceptional teaching while the daily systems around them were not always supporting the same goals.
This was never about blaming our child care providers or families. Nannies are trusted members of our households and communities. They often know children deeply and influence the emotional and practical rhythm of each day. Yet many have never been offered professional development that reflects the importance of that role.
Preston House was created to invest in those adults. When a caregiver becomes more confident, knowledgeable and intentional, that investment flows directly into the child: through every conversation, routine, boundary and opportunity to try.
Invest in the adult. Strengthen the environment. Expand the child’s potential.
There is no single correct way to raise or educate a child. Every family has its own values, culture and ambitions. Preston House offers tangible, evidence-informed tools that can be adapted to the home and implemented immediately.
